LHV offers banking services to teachers on special conditions

22.03.2024

For several years, the domestic LHV Pank has given impetus to various projects in the field of education. From now on, LHV also offers home loans on more favourable terms to teachers of general and vocational education schools and kindergartens, as well as supports the forming of saving habits.

According to Kadri Kiisel, Chairman of the Management Board at LHV Pank, it is schools and teachers who will create tomorrow’s Estonia. ‘For LHV, supporting education has always been important, and valuing teachers is part of our long-term plan. This is why for several years now we have been giving a boost to various educational projects, such as Lae End or Rakett69,’ Kiisel said.

LHV wishes to value dedicated teachers, thanks to whom we can take pride in high-quality education. ‘Education is Estonia’s strength, on which both our social well-being and Estonia’s future economic success directly depend. We wish to recognise and highlight teachers by offering them more flexibility in banking services,’ Kiisel said.

The offer includes a home loan under favourable terms and monthly raffles for income and Savings Account contributions. LHV offers home loans to teachers without an agreement fee, and upon concluding a new home loan agreement, LHV will cover all notary fees related to the transaction.

LHV will also draw 1,500 euros for two teachers every month until the end of the year, and two more teachers will receive seed money of 200 euros that is transferred to their Savings Account. The Savings Account is LHV’s new service for accumulating savings, with which it is possible to earn interest without withholding money for a certain period of time.

LHV’s offer for teachers can be used by all teachers of kindergartens, vocational schools and general education schools, including school psychologists, special education teachers, social pedagogues, study counsellors, directors of studies, and heads of educational institutions. The offer of a home loan for teachers can be used to buy, build or renovate a home.

The campaign is valid until 31 December 2024. Raffles for income and seed money for the Savings Account take place on the 5th day of each month or on the following working day.
