Entrepreneur Meiko Neuman: ‘You can achieve so much more through entrepreneurship.’

What made you decide to become an entrepreneur?

I have had the entrepreneurial bug since childhood – I was always buying and selling things, making products, and taking on side gigs alongside school. Business has always been my passion. I wanted to break free from the limitations of a regular job, to have more freedom with my time, and to simply get more done.

What does entrepreneurship give you?

For me, entrepreneurship and getting things done is a true passion. I believe we are all ultimately responsible for our own success, whether you are an employee or an entrepreneur. In a typical job, the team often disappears after five o’clock, but as an entrepreneur, you can accomplish so much more than just the standard nine to five. For me, entrepreneurship brings energy, free time, additional income, and exciting challenges to create something completely new and meaningful.

What does your company do?

My company, NordenBio OÜ, is the official distributor of the Puhdas+ product line in Estonia – a range of vitamins, supplements, and natural cosmetics. We are planning to expand into the Baltic and European markets in the near future. Puhdas+ is the only health product brand in Europe that is entirely free of preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners, and magnesium stearate. We offer clean, natural, high-quality alternatives to support everyday wellbeing. Our selection includes a wide variety of health products designed to promote daily health and wellness.

What are the three most important things to consider before starting a business?

For me, the three most important things when starting a business are:

1. energy – you need enough drive and passion to kickstart, grow, and manage your projects;
2. time – it is crucial to manage your time wisely so you can enjoy freedom and avoid burnout;
3. responsibility and structure – these are essential for building scalable and sustainable business models.
