Applying for a home loan is now even faster and more convenient at LHV, as the entire loan process – starting from application to notarial deeds – can be performed digitally and contact free.
While the process of applying for a home loan and signing the contracts was already digital at LHV, then remote notarial authorisation via video meeting has also been possible since last week.
According to Catlin Vatsel, Head of the Private Financing Department at LHV, the entire process is very fast and simple, as is characteristic of LHV. ‘We are committed to offering our clients the best home loan experience on the market. Our focus is clearly on the best customer service, the professionalism of loan managers, and the speed and flexibility of the transaction’, said Vatsel.
‘An application can be submitted through a mobile app as well as a computer. The first indicative offer will reach the applicant already within 24 hours and the entire further consultation, conclusion of the contract and now also formalising the transaction with a notary, can be done conveniently online’, she said, adding that the first contactless deals were concluded about a week ago.
Contactless deals are obviously important in view of the virus outbreak, but for a customer, they mean convenience and also a savings of time in the future.
In addition, LHV offers valuation of real estate for a favourable fee, which for a customer facilitates the entire loan application process even more.
Remote authentication can be used by the bank customers, whose natural person has been previously identified. Formalising a notarial deed assumes the availability of a camera and microphone, the possibility to give a digital signature, using the Google Chrome browser, and a proper Internet connection. Similar to an ordinary notarial deed, the parties also agree in this case on who pays the notary’s fee, and to what extent. Notary fees and the deposit can be paid electronically. For most of the notaries, LHV customers can transfer bigger deposit sums to the notary’s account as an internal payment, meaning that the payment moves quickly in real time.
