Every spring, Kantar Emor conducts an employer reputation survey, where students of economics, IT, and technical professions are asked to rank major employers. LHV Pank is the most reputable employer in the banking sector among young people.
In the ranked list of employers that was just published, LHV moved up one place compared to the previous year, ranking at a high fourth place above Swedbank among students of economics, IT and technical professions. TransferWise, Skype and Eesti Energia came out ahead of us.
According to the LHV Head of HR Liisa Põldma, this kind of recognition naturally brings joy to the bank. “We are an Estonian bank, and we care very much about the welfare of Estonian people. The fact that we are also the most desirable bank to work in among young people shows that our vision is common – an Estonia, where people and companies dare to think big, undertake, and invest in the future,” says Põldma.
“We have grown to become large and influential, yet have retained our internal small nature, which gives us the opportunity to hear everyone’s ideas, and to make quick decisions, if necessary. We want to be pathfinders, and to do things in the way others do not. I believe that innovative thinking, new approaches, opportunities and new technologies create both success in our everyday work, as well as value among job seekers,” she adds.
The employer reputation survey was conducted by Kantar Emor in April and May of this year, and it was conducted for the 15th time. 547 students pursuing higher education responded to this year’s survey.
