International financial affairs publication The Banker declared LHV Pank the best Estonian bank in 2020. The same recognition was also given to LHV last year.
Last night, the annual Bank of the Year Awards of The Banker took place, where LHV was declared the best bank in Estonia for the second year in a row. LHV was recognised at the virtual gala in terms of continued rapid growth, innovation, and proactive response to the corona crisis.
‘The year 2020 has been a tough one for everyone, so the title of the best bank in Estonia is a great recognition for both us and our clients. We reacted quickly to changes in the economic environment, becoming the first in Estonia to offer grace periods. At the same time, we continued to grow our business volumes and client base, and also introduced several new products and services to our clients,’ Chairman of the Management Board at LHV Pank Erki Kilu said.
Kilu added that an important step was also the development of a green action plan, which set the direction towards a greener environment and a more sustainable economy.
