The LHV home loan portfolio, which only entered the home loan market in autumn 2016, crossed the one billion euro mark in the first week of September. The bank’s next goal is for every fourth home in Estonia to be bought with the help of LHV.
When LHV Pank started offering home loans six years ago, it clearly stood out in the market for its flexibility. Over the years, a number of important values have been added that clients appreciate in LHV home loans.
According to Catlin Vatsel, Head of the Private Financing Department at LHV, the rapid growth of the home loan portfolio is driven by the desire and effort of the entire team to offer the best home loan experience on the market. ‘Buying a home and taking out a loan is one of the biggest decisions of a person’s life. This is why our focus is clearly on the best client service, the professionalism of our loan officers, and the speed and flexibility of the transaction. Our promise is to send a first loan offer within 24 hours, to think with each client and consider their wishes, and to make buying a home a smooth process,’ Vatsel says.
‘We are particularly pleased that we are financing more and more homes all over Estonia. While the majority of home loans still go to Harjumaa, Tartumaa, and Pärnumaa, the number of homes in our portfolio in other counties, including the islands, is also growing,’ Vatsel adds.
LHV home loan service has been continuously improved over the years. For example, it has been possible for a couple of years now to buy a home with the help of LHV 100% without contact, i.e., digitally, from the moment the application is submitted to the notary. There is also a green home loan with a favourable interest rate for energy class A homes, the possibility to use the home purchase planner and the LHV Growth Account for convenient down payment collection, and to calculate your maximum loan amount or monthly payment in the home loan calculator.
In addition, LHV home loan specialists regularly organise free webinars explaining, for example, what to keep in mind when buying your first home, how to be a good client in the eyes of the bank, what the differences are when building a house with a loan, etc., to make buying a home clearer.
