Employer branding agency Instar once again conducted a survey on job expectations and employer reputation, which revealed that LHV Pank is once again the preferred employer among Estonian students, economics students, and experienced employees in 2024.

According to an Estonia-wide survey of university students, 47% of students wanted to work for LHV in 2024. LHV Pank is also the preferred employer among experienced workers in Estonia, with 74% of respondents wanting to work there.

In addition to ranking first among Estonian students, economics students, and experienced employers, LHV ranked third in the preferences of IT students, fourth among vocational school students, and seventh among law students. For the third year in a row, LHV is the most attractive employer among experienced employees, and for the second year in a row among university students. LHV is the preferred choice among economics students for the fourth year in a row.

Age Leedo, Head of Human Resources at LHV, commented that the attractiveness of a company starts from within the organisation: ‘If we want to be a good employer and to stay competitive, we need to create an environment where our employees feel valued and motivated. A strong and positive culture keeps the best people with us which, in turn, is reflected in our attractiveness as an employer. Employer branding is important not only for attracting talent, but also for retaining it: our competitiveness depends on it.’

Leedo stressed: ‘If all of us, as employers, make an effort to create a caring work environment, we will improve our societal work culture and create positive change for both employees and organisations.’

From March to May, the employer branding agency Instar conducted an Estonia-wide survey of employees’ job expectations and employer reputation, in which nearly 6,000 students, vocational school students, and people with work experience in the fields of economics, information technology, construction, humanities, engineering, logistics, etc., participated. The survey has been conducted since 2010.
