As of today, it is possible to invest in funds managed by LHV Asset Management through LHV Pank without entry and exit fees.
According to Sander Pikkel, Head of Investment Services at LHV, the aim of the change is to support the development of investment habits that promote the growth of the future security of Estonian residents. ‘Although people in Estonia consider saving and investing important, the rapid rise in the cost of living in recent years has also affected people’s willingness to save for the future. Every step taken to make growing money more affordable is important, as consistent saving and investing is one of the most effective ways to build financial security,’ said Pikkel.
While up to now, purchase transactions were free of charge, but sales transactions were subject to a 1% fee (maximum EUR 3), from now on, sales transactions will also be free of charge. We also did away with purchase and sales fees for LHV funds in the Growth Account and the Pension Investment Account.
Funds managed by LHV Asset Management offer investors a convenient way to access assets and investments that are otherwise inaccessible to private investors. ‘LHV’s investment team is the largest in Estonia, and its experts build funds based on the principle of diversification. This means that attractive investment opportunities are being sought across asset classes as well as markets,’ said Pikkel.
The LHV World Equities Fund invests in equity markets around the world and seeks opportunities in both larger and smaller listed companies that offer good growth potential. The LHV Euro Bond Fund, unique in Estonia, focuses on the larger and more stable issuers in the European bond market and offers investors access to one of the world’s most important financial markets. ‘LHV’s goal is to offer people in Estonia a variety of opportunities to build future security. We hope that the elimination of entry and exit fees for LHV-managed funds will help people to achieve their investment goals even more efficiently,’ said Pikkel.
